KUALA LUMPUR, April 6 — The following is the morning update from the Communications and Multimedia Ministry (KKMM) Quick Response Team on countering fake news on Covid-19 on social media.
1. National Security Council (MKN) denies having issued a Covid-19 Schedule of several phases of implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO) which is to be purportedly extended to May 28, 2020.
2. Sabah Health Department denies claim of a death from Covid-19 in Beaufort.
3. Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) denies claim that many people were present and over 20 students staged a performance during a visit by the Higher Education Minister to the university.
