SINGAPORE, March 10 — Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH) yesterday reported 10 more positive cases of Covid-19 with three being imported cases, bringing the tally to 160.
Of the remaining seven, six cases have been linked to a private dinner function at SAFRA Jurong on February 15 and the other is linked to the cluster at The Life Church and Missions Singapore.
In a statement here, MOH said one of the new imported cases involved a 65-year-old male Indonesian national who arrived in Singapore on March 7 with his test results confirming his infection the next day.
The Indonesian currently warded in an isolation room at Singapore General Hospital (SGH) had reported onset of symptoms on February 28 while he was in Indonesia, and had sought treatment at a hospital in Jakarta on March 2, said the ministry.
Meanwhile, the ministry said another one likely to be an imported case involved a 65-year-old female Singapore citizen who had been in Indonesia from February 25 to February 28.
She was in Indonesia to visit her sister who had pneumonia and is currently warded in an isolation room at SGH.
The third new imported case involved a 52-year-old male British national.
According to MOH, three more cases of Covid-19 infection have been discharged from hospitals yesterday, thus, in all, 93 have fully recovered.
Of the 67 confirmed cases who are still in hospital, the ministry said most were stable or improving while 10 were in critical condition in the intensive care unit.
By noon yesterday, MOH had identified 3,784 close contacts who have since been quarantined.
