SHAH ALAM, Dec 31 — Datuk Seri Ahmad Khusairi Yahaya has been appointed the new Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) investigation director.
On Dec 24, Khusairi, 52, took over from outgoing director Datuk Seri Simi Abdul Ghani, 60, who retired on the same say after serving for 36 years.
"Khusairi was previously the Intelligence Division director, and he began his career at the MACC as an investigation officer in 1992.
"He also served as the director of the Policy, Planning and Research Division and headed the state office of Kuala Lumpur MACC," the commission said in a statement today.
Meanwhile, the director of Inspection and Consultation Division, Datuk Abd Aziz Aban, 55, replaces Khusairi as the new Intelligence Division director, effective on the same date.
Aziz had previously been MACC state director in Putrajaya, Kelantan and Pulau Pinang.
