KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 25 — The Malaysia Stadium Corporation (PSM) will claim compensation from the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) for the seats damaged by Indonesian fans at the Malaysia-Indonesia match at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Nov 19.
The claims will be filed against FAM as the organiser of the 2022 World Cup/2023 Asian Cup second-round qualifying match.
PSM chief executive officer Nik Razeen Adam Daud in a statement today said 44 seats had been damaged causing losses amounting to RM11,000.
Malaysia beat Indonesia 2-0 in the match, which was watched by 75,000 spectators.
