SHAH ALAM - Selangor Menteri Besar, Amirudin Shari described the Shared Prosperity Vision 2030 as announced by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as a clear and sustainable development vision for the country's future.
He said the idea would be the heartbeat of the country's economy, particularly to transform the economy of the people including the Bumiputeras.
“It is a clear mission on the direction of the country and it is evident that the current administration of Putrajaya has a framework and plans for the future of the country," noted Amirudin.
“It is not just an aspect of economic development but it also emphasizes the aspects of integrity, management and efficient administration," he said.
“The failure of the Bumiputeras are not due to foreign domination but due to the failure of those responsible for managing good governance," he added.
"Moreover, the situation worsened when corruption was rampant."
He said this when met after the Selangor State Religious Assistance Programme Phase 1 of the Year 2019, at the Lecture and Islamic Museum, here.
The Shared Prosperity Vision 2030 launched at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC) is a restructuring of Malaysia's development priorities which will be fully implemented by 2021 without having to do much alignment.
The main objective of the Shared Prosperity Vision 2030 is to provide a fair standard of living for all Malaysians and to focus on the success of Bumiputeras.
