KLANG - KDEB Waste Management Sdn Bhd (KDEBWM) conducts road clearing operation using the Road Sweeper machinery as its corporate social responsibility over the Raja Muda Nala Bridge yesterday morning.
KDEBWM's Head of Public Relations and Media, Mahfuzah Muhammad Tarmidi said that the cleaning usually takes about three hours and it is his weekly routine in every zone and area.
He said the Road Sweeper machinery works to make cleaning work more effective and efficient, especially relating to industrial waste in the area.
"This machine can accommodate up to 680 kilograms once used and equipped with Vehicle Monitor System (VMS) with centralized machine movement monitored at Centralized Command Center (CCC) at KDEBWM Headquarters in Shah Alam," he said.
Mahfuzah said the use of high-quality machinery not only facilitates the work, but is also capable of sweeping along roads mechanically especially on busy roads that can not be done manually.
At the same time, he stated that KDEBWM uses a variety of advanced equipment and technologies to improve the quality of solid waste management services as well as public cleansing.
"In addition to Road Sweeper, KDEBWM also has a High Pressure Water Jetter machine for drainage work," he said.
"KDEBWM as the company that manages solid waste management and public cleansing in Selangor will always provide the best service and high quality machinery as well as equipment in cleaning work," he added.
