SHAH ALAM - The main repairing of the main pipeline near the WCE-Banting Expressway is expected to be completed early this morning.
Selangor Menteri, Besar Amirudin Shari, said the rehabilitation work is now about 70 per cent done and is expected to be fully completed at 7 am.
"I received information from Air Selangor on the matter. The delay was due to unexpected land movement," said Amirudin.
"I have been in touch with the teams in the area and they are struggling right now to complete the repair work," he said in a note on social media.
At the same time, Amirudin also asked the parties who needed the water supply to contact them by leaving a message on Facebook or Instagram.
"Do DM me the address if your area is critical and needs water supply and I will try to pass on to Air Selangor for further assistance," he said.
"I have already asked Air Selangor to send the tanker lorry to the most critical area for now," added Amirudin.
Meanwhile, Air Selangor in a statement apologized for all the difficulties faced by customers.
"Redistribution of supplies will be carried out upon completion of the repair works," it stated.
"The rehabilitation in affected areas is in stages and the recovery period for each area is different."
