On February 13, 2019, YAB Tuan Amirudin Shari, Dato' Menteri Besar Selangor visited the storem affected areas. Among the areas visited are Kampung Tiram Jaya and Kampung Sawah Border. The storm caused damages to 174 houses from nine villages.
The Selangor State Government has approved a RM87,000.00 charity aid through the Selangor Special Disaster Fund to be handed over to the victims promptly through the Kuala Selangor District Disaster Management Committee to ease the burden of the victims.
YAB Dato' Menteri Besar Selangor has also instructed that repairs of damaged houses be implemented immediately and be fully borne by the Selangor State Government through the Chief Minister's (CSR) social responsibility (CSR) program in collaboration with the Sungai Burung DUN Community Services Center The DUN and estimates costs to be RM1.629 million.
The Selangor State Government has always been sensitive and concerned with the needs of the victims and the burden they bear. Therefore, the State Government will always provide assistance to victims from time to time.
