SHAH ALAM - A giant mural in Klang will be a tourist attraction soon, Pandamaran State Assemblyman (ADN) Tony Leong said.

He said that beforehand, a mural painting located at Jalan Kem was just a place for fishermen.

"The giant mural was painted on the Wall of the Persiaran Raja Muda Musa facing the traffic light opposite Jalan Kem.

"I also hope that the environment arounf the mural area will change as it is strategically located," he said.

Tony said the mural paintings were produced by two international painters, Judith de Leeuw of the Netherlands and Julia Volchkova of Russia.

Julia has been in the mural painting world since 2014 and began to create her art in Penang, Muar and Kuala Lumpur.

He said the mural, named 'The Loving Sisters' in Muar, was once recognized through The Malaysia Book of Records as the largest murals in Malaysia.

"Meanwhile, for his friend, Judith had produced a 'Desaku' painting in Kulim, Kedah, but this time we found them both to produce murals in Klang.

"The mural is expected to be fully completed by mid-November," he said.
