SHAH ALAM, SEP 29: A Compunded Person (OKK) stands a chance to enjoy up to 50% discount in the Compound Reduction Campaign, throughout this October, in conjunction with the 17th Anniversary of Shah Alam City.

Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) Head of Corporate and Public Relations, Shahrin Ahmad said there are nine types of compound eligible for a 50% discount.

Those are offenses under the 1983 Hair Salon By-laws, 2005 (MBSA) Park By-laws, 2005 (MBSA) Vandalism By-laws, 2007 (MBSA) Food Establishment By-laws, 2007 (MBSA) Food Operators By-laws, 2007 (MBSA) Advertisement By-laws, 2007 (MBSA) Hawkers By-laws, 2007 MBSA Road Transport Order and the 2007 (MBSA) Market By-laws.

“OKKs are advised to take this opportunity to settle their outstanding compunds before stern action being taken. That include restriction to do business, from MBSA counter or court action,” he said.

Shahrin said, Car Park compound (MBSA Road Transport Order) is reduced up to RM30 from the original amount.

He said, MBSA also provides the Shah Alam On Wheel (SAOW) Mobile Office which operates every Saturday at selected supermarkets in MBSA area.

“The public can also make payment at the Wisma MBSA Main Counters or at its Branch Offices in Sungai Buloh, Kota Kemuning and Setia Alam,” he said.

For car park offenses compounds, OKK can pay through Maybank2U, Bank Muamalat and Bank Rakyat counters.

Besides that, for payment through JomPay, OKK only need to enter the biller code, 6726, compound number for ref1 and telephone number for ref2 followed by the amount to be paid.
