KLANG, SEP 21: The Klang Municipal Council (MPK) is offering a reduction of parking compounds in conjunction with Malaysia Day, effective September 16 to October 17, 2017.
MPK’s Corporate Communications Director, Norfiza Mahfiz said the offer applies to Carpark Compounds and Obstruction and Traffic Compounds (RM15) as well as Heavy Vehicles Traffic Compounds (RM200).
She said, the campaign is to encourage the public to take the opportunity to settle their outstanding compounds.
“The campaign is also to help customers who could not pay their compounds earlier to settle them within the stipulated timeline.
“We urge the public to take this opportunity to settle their compounds before the offer period ends on October 15, 2017.
“They can check on their compounds at MPK Headquarters (HQ) and Branch Office in Jalan Tengku Kelana and make payment at all counters in MKP HQ and branches at Jalan Tengku Kelana, Kompleks Pasar Besar Jalan Meru, Port Klang Bus Station and Kapar Town,” she said in a statement.
Norfiza said, besides those locations, payment can also be done at MPK counters at Bukit Tinggi Giant Supermarket, MPK Mobile Counters and counters at selected supermarkets which they will provide soon. People can also pay online.
