SHAH ALAM, SEPT 19: Former Chief Executive Officer of Perbadanan Adat Melayu and Warisan Selangor (PADAT), Mohd Faizul Fitri Muslil was appointed as the President of the new Sabak Bernam District Council.
The Letter of Placement Handing Ceremony and Delivery of the Mandate was delivered by the State Government Secretary, Dato' Mohd Amin Ahmad Ahya at his office yesterday.
Mohd Faizul replaces the former MDSB President Azlinda Azman.
Mohd Amin also congratulated Mohd Faizul on the appointment.
MDSB is one of the 12 local authorities since 1977.
Prior to being declared as District Council, MDSB was known as the local authority of the Local Assembly and Town Board.
