KUALA LUMPUR, SEPT 19: Bursa Malaysia rose at the opening before shrinking due to lack of buying interest, dealers said.
At 9.24am, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) stood at 1,781.44, decrease 2.2 points from yesterday's closing of 1,783.66.
Earlier, the benchmark index opened 0.02 points higher at 1,783.66.
The market line was positive with gainers outnumbering losses of 190 against 159 while 241 counters were unchanged, 1,247 untraded and 23 others suspended.
Turnover stood at 424.19 million with a value of RM119.75 million.
