SHAH ALAM, AUG 31: The Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) had set a rate as low as RM1 for the Multi-storey carpark in SS15, starting from September 4.

The MPSJ’s Deputy Director for Corporate, Corporate and Strategic Management Department, Azfarizal Abdul Rashid said, the rate applies for one hour between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., from Monday to Friday.

He said, daily rate is RM8 and RM2 per entry after 7 p.m.

“For Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays, the rate is RM2.

“Besides that, the rate for dedicated lot is RM318 a month, regular monthly pass is RM159 a month and student-pass cost RM127 a month,” he said in a statement.

Last July, the multi-level parking complex was opened to public to create an organised and comfortable environment within the commercial area especially for residents and business operators in Subang Jaya.

It is to solve the limited parking problem, prevent illegal parking, providing a safe parking space and solve the traffic congestion in SS15.

The four-storey building has 630 parking lots with 605 covered parking in the building and 25 open-air carparks, including 14 lots for people with disability and 12 dedicated lot for women drivers.

The complex is built with an environmental-friendly concept with LED lightings to save energy and painted using epoxy safe chemicals for the floor.

The building is also equipped with close circuit television (CCTV) camera system that runs for 24 hours and directly connected to MPSJ Headquarters for security and monitoring purposes.
