TAIPEI, TAIWAN, APR 25: The Smart Selangor Delivery Unit (SSDU) represented by Raja Shahreen and Dr Fahmi Ngah met with two Malaysian engineers with CECI Engineering Consultants Inc Taiwan, the largest engineering consultancy in Taiwan, to tap into its vast experience in building information management systems.
The meeting was hosted by CECI Chairman Dr Wen Jing Huang and Robert Luo, Manager for the Overseas Business Centre as well as heads of various CECI engineering divisions.
According to Dr Fahmi, the SSDU hopes to explore deeper collaborations with CECI on how to adapt the company’s ready technological solutions for traffic monitoring applications and also basic training of BIM methodologies for contractors in Selangor.
One key CECI project is the Taipei HSR (High Speed Rail) from Taipei to Kaohsiong, which is the largest BOT (Build Operate Transfer) project in the world.
