SHAH ALAM, MAR 29: Dato’ Iskandar Abdul Samad denied Kota Damansara Assemblyman, Datuk Halimaton Saadiah Bohan’s allegation that State Government only completed 600 units of Rumah Selangorku.
On the contrary, the Housing, Building Management and Urban Settlement Exco sent a message to the Umno-Barisan Nasional (BN) wakil rakyat that State Government has completed building 665 units and in the process to build another 20,675 units of Rumah Selangorku.
In fact, he invited her to visit the project site with him to get a clearer picture on the matter.
“Yesterday, after the assembly session, Kota Damansara (Halimaton Saadiah) asked for figures, I have sent a WhatsApp (figures)….she has replied, thank you.
“She can go to the project site with me,” he said replying an oral question by Sekinchan Assemblyman, Ng Suee Lim in Selangor State Assembly (DNS) today.
Iskandar clarified that the State Government started building Rumah Selangorku in 2014, and until now, 665 units have been completed.
Meanwhile, strata housing takes up to three years to be completed.
“We have 24 projects now with 20,675 house units, this is the correct figures,” he said.
Suee Lim raised the question following Halimaton Saadiah’s allegations through media, as well Permatang Assemblyman, Datuk Sulaiman Abdul Razak’s statement that these are empty promises.
