SHAH ALAM, FEB 14: 44 Form 1 asnaf (eligible zakat recipients) students managed to be enrolled in the Religious Secondary School (SAM) through the quota set by the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS).
According to the Selangor Zakat Board (LZS), in collaboration with JAIS, they have conducted briefing to the students recently at the Sultan Salahudin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque Seminar Hall.
The seminar was held to explain to the students on the zakat aid besides their offer letter to be enrolled into the SAM.
The briefing was conducted by JAIS representative, Ustaz Samuri Zan Sarjimin.
Also present was Distribution Division, Education Department Head, Mohd Denyzman Kamaruddin.
