PULAU INDAH, FEB 5: Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali has denied claims that water tariff in Selangor will increase as much as 72%.
He said the State Government has no plans to increase the tariff and asked the rakyat not to believe in such wild allegations.
“Nothing is increasing, who announced this?” he said when met at the Karnival Semarak Kasih Jiran Sekampung Pulau Indah 2017 at Sultan Abdul Aziz Mosque, Kampung Perigi Indah.
The allegation was uploaded on a blog.
Mohamed Azmin had previously said that the Selangor Government has allocated over RM160 million to implement the 20 cubic metre free water programme that is currently enjoyed by the entire population of Selangor.
