Khalid posted on his Twitter account on December 29, refuting news of the alleged theft which has been going viral on the social media since December 27.

Meanwhile, Subang Jaya District Police Chief ACP Mohammad Azlin Sadari, on the Subang Jaya District Police Facebook account, said it was an old viral news.

“This viral is false. There has been no such case reported in Subang Jaya,” he said as reported by BERNAMA.

Mohammad Azlin also advised the public to be careful when spreading news and to ensure its authenticity before letting it go viral.

The police uniform theft was reported in February 2015.

A launderette owner had made a police report then, upon realising that 30 pairs of police uniforms had been stolen from the shop after a break-in.
