SHAH ALAM, NOV 3: Dato Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali denies the charges by Datuk Mat Nadzari Ahmad Dahlan that the increased of State Government reserves today is the result of efforts initiated by Barisan Nasional before.
Dato 'Menteri Besar when utter in the winding session of the State Budget 2017 at the Selangor State Council, said that based on the record, the achievement so brilliantly achieved RM3.62 billion was driven by the State Government led by Pakatan Rakyat (Pakatan) since 2008.
"Batang Kali raised the state’s reserves today was the result of the efforts from the previous State Government led by Barisan Nasional (BN).
"The State Government record proves that between 1999 till 2007, the state’s reserves slumped as much as 22.6%, from RM1.79 billion to RM1.38 billion.

"This means in the entire period of nine years, the state’s reserves decreased as much as RM405 million," he said to review the indictment by Mat Nadzari (Batang Kali - BN).
He said changes started to happen with the changing hands of the State Government with the state’s reserves recorded an increase in stages.
"In 2008 the state’s reserves were RM1.43 billion, and continued to surge to RM3.62 billion on October 14, 2016 or 153.4% were boosted as much as RM2.19 billion.
"This is the triumph by the brilliance of the State Government, based on integrity, accountability, openness and honesty," he said
