SHAH ALAM, OCT 19: The Selangor Water Supply Company (SYABAS) and Selangor Water Management Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) have dismissed claims spreading in social media that the free 20 cubic metres of water provided will be reduced.
Air Selangor Corporate Communications Head Amin Lin Abdullah said that the allegation that 20 cubic metres of free water enjoyed by domestic consumers currently will now be reduced to 10 cubic metres effective November 1, 2016, is false.
"We will not hesitate to report to the authorities regarding any person who spreads false information about our organisation on social media," he said in a media statement.
The free 20 cubic metres of water programme has been implemented by the State Government under Pakatan since 2008.
