SHAH ALAM, OCT 17: The Ringgit continued its downward trend against the US Dollar in early trading today.
The local currency dropped against the US Dollar to 4.2180/2374 following data from Bank Negara.
The Ringgit also closed lower against several other currencies.
It dropped against the Singapore Dollar to 3.0300/0.3305 compared to 3.0214/0252 (October 14) and declined against the Yen to 4.0480 from 3.9999/9066.
The Ringgit also dropped compared to the British Pound to 5.1329 from 5.1142/1220 last week and the Euro to 4.6263 from 4.6199/6267.
