He said, that has put Selangor in the second place behind Johor, while in terms on number of projects, it is leading with 130 projects within the same period compared to other states in Malaysia.

“This achievement reflects that the State Government is on the right track towards achieving its RM6 billion target by the end of 2016.

“In the current volatile global economy, we are proud with this achievement,” he said in a media conference after the Selangor International Expo 2016 Pre-launch Event at the SUK Building, here, today.

Chang Kim said that, Selangor also remains a major contributor to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by 22.6%.

“This is an increase compared to last year’s percentage of 22.4%.

“The State Government believes that Selangor will lead as the main contributor to the GDP in the coming years,” he said.
