SHAH ALAM, SEP 23: The current success achieved by the State Government is due to the strong support from its machinery, especially public servants who have given quality service for the betterment of the people and the whole of Selangor.
Dato’ Menteri Besar Dato’ Mohamed Azmin Ali said the State Government would not have achieved this success if not for the cooperation given to him as the state leader, from all parties, including public servants.
“This is not an empty compliment. The Merdeka Centre poll found 73% of the citizens are satisfied with Selangor State Government's performance, while 67% agreed that the State Government is people-friendly.
“No doubt, this support is a great vote of confidence to the whole team of Selangor civil servants, acknowledging and recognising your efficiency and effectiveness. Congratulations,” he said at the ‘Memperkukuh Iltizam Memaju Negeri’ – Civil Servants and the Menteri Besar – Ceremony on September 22.
A ceremony was also held to launch his 'Building a Nation' book, in conjunction with his two years tenure as Dato’ Menteri Besar.
Also present were State Secretary Datuk Mohd Amin Ahmad Ahya, State Legal Advisor Dato 'Nik Suhaimi Nik Sulaiman, State Financial Officer Datuk Noordin Sulaiman, state excos and assemblymen.
He said the support of all parties is essential to the success of the agenda outlined by the State Government, to ensure that the country continues to move forward.
