SHAH ALAM, Sept 23 – The High Court here today acquitted and discharged former Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi on 40 charges of receiving bribes in connection with the Foreign Visa System (VLN).

SHAH ALAM, Sept 23 — Proceedings have begun in the High Court, which will determine whether to acquit or call for the defence of Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi over 40 charges of graft involving the Foreign Visa System contract.

SHAH ALAM, Sept 23 — All eyes will be on High Court Judge Datuk Mohd Yazid Mustafa this morning for his decision on whether to free or order Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to enter his defence on 40 corruption charges in connection with the Foreign Visa System (VLN).
