AstraZeneca to withdraw Covid-19 vaccine globally as demand dips

BENGALURU, May 8 — AstraZeneca said on Tuesday it has initiated the worldwide withdrawal of its Covid-19 vaccine due to a "surplus of available updated vaccines" since the pandemic.

AstraZeneca says early trial data indicates third dose helps against Covid-19 Omicron

(REUTERS), Jan 13 — AstraZeneca said on Thursday that preliminary data from a trial showed that its Covid-19 shot, Vaxzevria, generated an increase in antibodies against the Omicron and other variants when given as a third booster dose.
