REUTERS, Nov 10 — Pfizer Inc's experimental Covid-19 vaccine is more than 90 per cent effective based on initial trial results, the drugmaker said on Monday, a major victory in the war against a virus that has killed over a million people and battered the world's economy.

RIO DE JANEIRO, Nov 10 — American drugmaker Pfizer and German pharmaceutical firm BioNTech will request Brazil's emergency use authorisation for a Covid-19 vaccine the two firms are jointly developing, Edson Moreira, the coordinator of the trials in the South American country, said on Monday.
