KUALA LUMPUR, March 12 — State governments have been reminded to comply with the implementation of a moratorium on the export of non-radioactive rare earth elements (NR-REE), which came into force on January 1, the Dewan Rakyat was told today.

SEREMBAN, Jan 3 (Bernama) -- The Negeri Sembilan state government has approved the standard operating procedures (SOP) for the mining of non-radioactive rare earth elements (NR-REE), which is expected to commence this year, said Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun.

IPOH, Dec 13 — A total of 31 people, including two women, one each from Vietnam and Myanmar, were arrested for alleged illegal mining of ore deposits containing non-radioactive rare earth elements (NR-REE) at the Bintang Hijau Forest Reserve in Hulu Perak.

IPOH, Oct 4 – The Perak government received the approval of the Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change Ministry (NRECC), during the National Mineral Council Meeting on Monday, to build a laboratory for non-radioactive rare earth elements (NR-REE) or lanthanides in the country.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 9 — The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (KeTSA) has not issued any mining approval for non-radioactive rare earth elements (NR-REE) in the Permanent Forest Reserve area, said its minister,  Datuk Dr Shamsul Anuar Nasarah.
