BNM: Macroeconomic prospects, structural reforms to provide support for ringgit

Ringgit rises 1.4 pct against basket of major trading partner currencies in third quarter

Ringgit up 10 pct vs US dollar, remains strong against currencies of major trading partners

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 16 — The ringgit reversed its downtrend and appreciated by 10 per cent from November 1, 2022 to February 8, 2023 to hit RM4.2983 against the US dollar, according to the Ministry of Finance (MoF).
