King, Queen grace high tea for al-Quran Assembly participants

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 — His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, the King of Malaysia, and Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, the Queen of Malaysia, graced a high tea event to honour the judges and participants of the 64th International Al-Quran Recitation and Memorisation Assembly (MTHQA).

PM: Islam will be upheld as religion of Federation, non-Muslims treated with respect

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 19 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says he will ensure that Islam continues to be upheld as the religion of the Federation, besides providing sufficient allocation for the organisation of Islamic knowledge programmes.
