Yong Soo Heong receives Hawana 2025 award for lifetime contribution to journalism

KUALA LUMPUR, June 14 — Malaysian Press Institute (MPI) President Datuk Yong Soo Heong was honoured with the Hawana 2025 Award in recognition of his lifelong contribution to journalism, at the National Journalists’ Day (Hawana) 2025 main celebration at the World Trade Centre today.

Adibah Amin first woman to be named national journalism laureate

KUALA LUMPUR, June 8 — Veteran journalist Khalidah Adibah Amin was named the National Journalism Laureate in conjunction with the Malaysian Press Institute (MPI)-Petronas Malaysian Journalism Awards (HKM) 2023 at the Malaysian Journalists Night 2024 yesterday.
