PM: Islam will be upheld as religion of Federation, non-Muslims treated with respect

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 19 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says he will ensure that Islam continues to be upheld as the religion of the Federation, besides providing sufficient allocation for the organisation of Islamic knowledge programmes.
