Selangor Fama targets 80 per cent opening of pre-Ramadan, pre-Aidilfitri markets

SHAH ALAM, March 18 — The Selangor Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (Fama) is targeting the opening of 40 pre-Ramadan and pre-Aidilfitri markets or 80 per cent of the 50 existing farmers' markets in the state.

PUTRAJAYA, March 12 — The Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (Fama) has registered 825 new entrepreneurs in 2020, taking the total number of entrepreneurs under the agency to 53,289, said Agriculture and Food Industries Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ronald Kiandee.

Johor Fama hopes farmers’ markets will be allowed to resume operations

JOHOR BAHRU, Oct 20 — The Johor Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (Fama) hopes local authorities will consider allowing farmers’ markets in the state that have been ordered to close temporarily to resume operations.
