KOTA BHARU, March 7 — A female trainee doctor was found dead in a dormitory in the Sultan Ismail Petra Hospital, Kuala Krai, yesterday.
Kuala Krai district police chief Supt Mazlan Mamat said they received word about the death at 9.55am before a police team was dispatched to investigate.
"Investigations in the location found that the victim was a female trainee doctor, 29, who was found dead in the bathroom of the dormitory.
"Preliminary investigations at the location found no sign of criminal elements,” he said in a statement today, adding that the body was taken to the hospital’s forensics unit for autopsy.
The case is being classified as a sudden death, and Mazlan urged those with information about the incident to contact the Kuala Krai police station at 09-9666222.
