SHAH ALAM, March 5 — Four state agencies today joined forces to prepare 4,000 containers of bubur lambuk to be distributed to stakeholders and the Shah Alam community during the Ihya’ Ramadan event this evening.

The strategic cooperation was undertaken by Media Selangor Sdn Bhd, Kumpulan Hartanah Selangor Bhd (KHSB), Selangor Islamic Religious Council (MAIS), and Yayasan Warisan Anak Selangor (YAWAS).

The cooking of the bubur lambuk started early in the morning at Masjid Al-Ikhlas in Section 13 here, with masjid staff and volunteers from the four agencies also involved.

Meanwhile, Media Selangor chief executive officer Mohamed Fareed Mohamed Ashaaree said the corporate social responsibility (CSR) effort would be continued to appreciate the community and help the needy.

“Media Selangor staff have given their full commitment since the morning began by preparing ingredients, cooking, and distributing (the bubur lambuk) after Asar prayers.

“God willing, programmes like these will continue in the future to support efforts to help local communities, especially needy groups,” Fareed said.
