SHAH ALAM, March 3 — A bridal boutique, a grocery store, and a house were damaged in a fire this morning on Jalan Sungai Saim, Kampung Rantau Panjang, Klang.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) deputy director of operations Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the department received a call at 6.52 am.
"A team of 12 personnel with fire engines from the Klang Utara and Klang Selatan fire stations were deployed to the scene," he said in a statement.
He added that the fire involved a single-storey house, a bridal boutique, and a grocery store.
"The single-storey Class A house was 30 per cent destroyed, the bridal boutique 98 per cent, and the grocery store 80 per cent," he said.
Ahmad Mukhlis confirmed that no casualties were reported in the incident.
