KLANG, March 2 — GM Klang continues to empower the community by uplifting disabled entrepreneurs through its Ramadan and Rioooh Raya Bazaar markets during the festive season.
Throughout the holy month, GM Klang’s Ramadan bazaar, held every day from 3pm to 8pm, features nearly 35 local entrepreneurs, including disabled traders, who offer various dishes for iftar.
Meanwhile, the Rioooh Raya Bazar around GM Klang is heightening excitement for Syawal, with various offerings like traditional attire, accessories, kuih, home decorations, and other attractive products.
The involvement of disabled traders in both bazaars reflects GM Klang’s inclusive approach in ensuring wider, more sustainable business opportunities for the group.

This initiative is in line with GM Klang’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) to provide a strategic, high-impact trading platform and help disabled entrepreneurs grow their businesses and improve their competitiveness in the local business ecosystem.
According to GM Klang senior brand communications manager Norsuhaida Othman, this effort not only brings them economic value, but carries a greater meaning for the community.
“We believe each entrepreneur has great potential for success when given the appropriate space, opportunity and support.
“Through the Ramadan bazaar and Rioooh Raya Bazar, we are not just providing a sales platform, but uplifting OKU entrepreneurs’ potential so they can be on a par with and compete in current business conditions,” she said.
Norsuhaida added that this year’s concept will provide visitors with a more comprehensive and inclusive Ramadan experience.

“Visitors can buy iftar meals at the Ramadan bazaar, and then spread a mat and break their fast with their families at Dataran GM Klang with leisure, before continuing to more comfortably shop as we now operate until 10pm.
“This is the uniqueness of GM Klang as a one-stop destination throughout Ramadan and Syawal,” Norsuhaida said.
With encouraging response and more visitors each day, GM Klang is optimistic that this initiative won’t only make the festive season merrier, but provide more space for the growth and sustainability of community entrepreneurs.
