SHAH ALAM, Feb 23 — A fierce fire ripped through three houses in Jalan 2/2, Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh, yesterday afternoon, leaving 15 residents without a home.
The Sungai Buloh Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) rushed to the scene 10 minutes after receiving an emergency call at 3.47pm. By then, flames had already engulfed the three homes, causing nearly total destruction, while a neighboring house suffered minimal damage.
Firefighters from Sungai Buloh, Damansara, Rawang, and Bukit Jelutong worked together, using multiple hose lines and nozzles to bring the blaze under control.
Senior Fire Officer I Rosdi Hainan led the operation, supervised by Fire Commissioner Abdul Rahman Che Pa.
The fire was fully extinguished by 7.25 pm, with no injuries reported. Authorities urged residents to follow home fire safety measures to prevent similar disasters.
