SHAH ALAM, Feb 16 — Lepak Seni@Klang, held for the first time by the Klang Royal City Council (MBDK), has received encouraging responses from the local community, said the council.
MBDK said the event, held at Giant Bukit Tinggi yesterday, was aimed at fostering the community’s interest in art and provide a family-friendly leisure space.
“Visitors have the opportunity to catch flute performances, batik-colouring demonstrations, music combos, and a magic act by Mawie the Magician, which would attract the attention of children and adults.
“This programme has received good response from visitors and gave the community a chance to enjoy art activities in a leisurely and family-friendly environment,” MBDK said in a Facebook post.
The event, which brings the community closer to art in an interactive manner, was attended by MBDK councillor Pannir Selvam Gopal and MBDK Community Department director Mohd Fharulisa Isa.
