SHAH ALAM, Feb 11 — Agrobank, in partnership with Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated), or MBI, today launched the Selangor Ramadan Bazaar 2026 programme, which covers 16 locations under the state’s 12 local authorities.
Agrobank Group chief executive officer Datuk Tengku Ahmad Badli Shah Raja Hussin said the second year of collaboration with MBI under the Platform Selangor (PLATS) initiative aims to empower Selangor-based entrepreneurs adopting a digital approach.
He said that through the collaboration, Agrobank would launch a special Scan, Pay and Win campaign from Sunday to June 15, exclusively for its customers.
“This collaboration aims to encourage the shift towards cashless transactions. With the Scan, Pay and Win campaign, customers stand a chance to win exciting prizes, including a Honda ADV160 motorcycle, an iPhone 17 Pro Max, and RM300 in cash.
“The campaign highlights the use of cashless payment methods such as DuitNow QR, AGRO-i Debit Card, or FPX, making transactions faster and more convenient, thus supporting society’s move towards a digital economy,” he said in a statement today.
Tengku Badli Shah, who is also Agrobank Group president, encouraged customers to make the most of Agrobank’s cashless payment facilities when shopping at Ramadan bazaars or preparing for Aidilfitri.
“By taking part in this campaign, customers will enjoy a faster and safer transaction experience, while also standing a chance to win a range of attractive prizes,” he said.
He also said that with its involvement in the Selangor Ramadan Bazaar 2026 programme and the launch of its cashless campaign, Agrobank remains committed to empowering entrepreneurs and enhancing customer convenience through digital innovation.
“This effort will not only enhance the customer experience at Ramadan bazaars, but support society’s shift towards an inclusive and efficient digital economy, in line with the state government’s goal of developing a digital-based ecosystem in Selangor,” Tengku Badli Shah said.
