KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 14 — The retail prices of RON97 petrol and non-subsidised RON95 nationwide will decrease by three sen and two sen respectively, to RM3.08 and RM2.52 per litre from January 15 to January 21.
The Finance Ministry (MOF) said the retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia will also drop by five sen to RM2.84 per litre, while prices in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan will remain at RM2.15 per litre during the same period.
The retail price of subsidised RON95 petrol under BUDI Madani (BUDI95) remains at RM1.99 per litre.
“The government will continue monitoring global oil price trends and take appropriate measures to ensure people’s welfare remains intact,” it said in a statement today.
