BUKIT MERTAJAM, Oct 24 — The police have arrested three foreign men to assist in investigations into the double murder of a woman and her daughter at a house in Kampung Sekolah Juru on Saturday (October 18).
Penang police chief Datuk Azizee Ismail told Bernama that the three were arrested separately today, two men in Kulim, Kedah, and the third in Selangor.
"The three, who are in their 30s to 40s, all know each other,” he said, adding that they would be remanded tomorrow at the Bukit Mertajam Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
The victim’s husband, 57, would also be taken to court and freed on police bail upon the end of his remand period tomorrow.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
