SHAH ALAM, Feb 3 — Dato’ Dr Ahmad Fadzli Ahmad Tajuddin has been appointed as the new Selangor state secretary, effective today.
Previously serving as the state financial officer, Ahmad Fadzli replaces Dato’ Haris Kasim, whose tenure ended on January 31.
The handover ceremony on January 28 was witnessed by Dato’ Menteri Besar Dato’ Sri Amirudin Shari.
Also present were the state executive councillors, deputy state secretary (Management) Dato’ Mohd Yazid Sairi, State Economic Planning Unit (Upen) director Dato’ Johary Anuar, and all department heads under the Selangor State Secretary’s Office.
Ahmad Fadzli previously held positions as the president of the Klang Municipal Council (MPK) and the head of the Management and Innovation Cluster at the National Institute of Public Administration (Intan) before being appointed as Selangor’s state financial officer on December 16, 2021.
