SHAH ALAM, Aug 20 — Kota Kemuning state assemblyman V Ganabatirau has contributed free fuel to 50 p-hailing riders, here today.
He said the programme, which took place at a petrol station in Taman Sri Muda, Section 25 here, was aimed at alleviating the food delivery riders’ burden.
“This is the third time we held such a programme this year and all the recipients’ motorcycles received a full tank of free petrol.
“Some people may think that p-hailing riders live an easy life, but the fact is that they are also affected by the rising cost of living.
"Therefore, we try to help them by easing their burden and at the same time get a chance to know the riders who consist of not only singles but some are single mothers,” he told SelangorKini today.
Ganabatirau who is also a state executive councillor said the p-hailing riders also received mineral water, bread and 99 Speedmart vouchers worth RM20.
