SHAH ALAM, Aug 11 — Selangor’s theme for the 65th Merdeka Day celebration, #KitaSelangor, is a reflection of the people in the state who have always supported one another.
Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said during the historic month, everyone must uphold the value of unity, courage and dynamism of the Selangor people, which should be celebrated.
“Selangor has faced numerous problems in recent years, but we have successfully overcome them.
“The state's multiracial community has contributed to stability, harmony, and an inspirational economic growth,” he said on Facebook last night.
On July 31, the Menteri Besar launched the state’s Independence Day celebration campaign during the Selangor Penyayang roadshow in Gombak.
